Re: 2 pads for volume up and down

Maybe not directly with the SoftStep in Standalone, but there are other midi filtering programs that would allow this, such as Bome's Midi Translator on the PC or MidiFlow on iOS. You'd then use a single CC on each SoftStep pad to trigger the increment/decrement through the filter.

Lemur Template for Chord Progressions w/Foot Controllers

Here's a personal Lemur project I put together that I thought I'd share, in case anyone else has a similar need. https://liine.net/en/community/user-library/view/638/ It was built as a tool to aid in playing chord progressions with foot controllers - primarily providing the ability to increment thro...

Re: Editor - Visual Monitor and/or Live Midi Output

Huh? Not really sure what you mean by that. Many other midi hardware devices use system exclusive (sysex) calls to allow for parameter editing/saving from outside apps - or for use with 3rd party midi editors, such as 'TB Midi Stuff' http://www.thiburce.com/TBStuff/?page_id=664 , found on both PC a...

Editor - Visual Monitor and/or Live Midi Output

Would like to see the following in the editor: - Visual monitor of midi output coming from the pads. Would be nice to evaluate the actual pressure and x/y data from pads. - Live output to a virtual midi port from within the editor to actually test output without having to disconnect QuNeo from the e...

Re: 32 Presets per Setlist

Don't worry - I'm a developer and understand. Just floating the concept in case it happened to be low-hanging fruit development-wise. But also surprised additional presets would be considered a unique case. I've had my Softstep presets full up from day one when I bought my first one 2 years ago. I'm...

Re: 32 Presets per Setlist

What if a user was able to select between the current setup or a secondary profile that limited them to no more than 3 modlines per preset and doubled their setlist presets? Wouldn't something along that lines have a similar memory footprint?

32 Presets per Setlist

Just got my Softstep 2 - which is great, so far. But I was hoping that double the memory translated to additional Setlist presets, but apparently not. Any chances that more than 16 will be supported? I find myself doubling and tripling up on songs per preset, sometimes have to use the upper buttons ...

Re: Global/Virtual Presets

You can copy entire presets and paste them. Then modify the keys you want to change. Is this not an option for some reason? In my case, not really. I don't know that I'd want the whole upper or lower row global, so I may only decide to only use buttons 6-7-8 as global. If I'm using all 32 setlist s...

Re: Global/Virtual Presets

I'm not sure I'm as interested in a global upper row (that seems a bit too behringer mod like) as I am having individual global presets that I can reuse wherever I want. This could either be handled as a completely different set of virtual presets, or could simply be references to presets on other b...

Global/Virtual Presets

Many times, I find myself utilizing a specific preset on a button across several banks. For example, I use the softstep for controlling both Ableton loops, but I also have several presets on the upper buttons (6-0) set up to control our DMX lighting system. Those top row buttons need to stay the sam...
