Re: Volume pedal/expression pedal settings for key

I am using Pedal 1 for Pitchbend down and Pedal 2 for Pitchbend up. I find it to be more reliable than using the X-Axis or Y-Axis of a single pedal. Pitchbend down is accomplished by using a gain of -0.5 and an offset of 64. Negative gains only work in more recent versions of the SoftStep software. ...

Re: Question to SoftStep owners

I am using SoftStep (in standalone mode now, yay!) with Brainspawn Forte on Windows. Switch 1 is pitchbend down Switch 2 is pitchbend up Switch 4 is modwheel Switch 0 is Forte Prev scene Switch 5 is Forte Next scene I'll probably turn the other switches into other parameters eventually. Re: Standalone Time Frame for Windows????

We had a short rehearsal tonight and for whatever reason, the SoftStep software crashed twice, and required a windows restart (plus blue screen). I am now worried about my show on Saturday. I understand that there have been problems when mixing firmware versions. Can someone advise if the following ...

Re: Standalone Time Frame for Windows????

I would like to say that I'm not trying to rush you guys. I develop software for a living, and I know how unpredictable estimates can be, especially when you're under the gun. I just wanted to know what the scoop is, since we haven't heard anything for a couple of days. And, I guess I'm also chiming...

Re: Standalone Time Frame for Windows????

Is there a new (realistic) estimate of when the Windows software will be out? The good news is that I used Softstep for a gig on Sunday, and it got through the night! I run it with Brainspawn Forte to cycle through scenes and change synth parameters. However, without the stand-alone mode, I need to ...
