Re: Sound Quality Problems

Unfortunately, I think you'll be waiting a long time. Support confirmed to me that there is no further development on the StringPort!!! Likely that they haven't been able to write good quality 64bit drivers and are therefore devoting their time to other projects. This sucks, there is so much potenti...

Re: Sound Quality Problems

If nothing else fails, you can turn down each string by using a screwdriver on the small pots in the compartment where the battery lives.

Thanks for the quick reply :) Will contact support and let them know the s/n.

Sensor calibration?

Both of the rotary controllers on my QuNeo are constantly flashing, and outputing controller data.

Is there any way to calibrate the sensors?

Thanks,

Re: Sound Quality Problems

I consider myself lucky that I didn't pay much cash for this, but feel very sorry for those who did - or maybe that's the problem, hardly anyone bought one.

Maybe we all need to start a Kickstarter to get the cash for KMI to finish the job, lol.

Re: Sound Quality Problems

Getting the same. Having real issues with stability, creating a nasty digital noise which comes back after a few seconds or so - I get it most with the synth section, and the vst rack. I thought it may be lack of CPU grunt with my 2.8 core 2 duo but as you're using a much more recent machine, I gues...

Will the interface work with other software?

I'm wondering if the hardware would appear as a multi i/o device for software such as Reaktor or Max/MSP, with each string on a different channel?

Thanks,

Re: Software crashing

Looks like a mixture of drivers/software version. Managed to get everything running... sort of.

Software crashing

Just upgraded to 1703 release, and installed the 1.34 drivers. The Mainframe loads up OK, but the processing apps fail on load. Here's an example, all help greatfully received.. Process: SP-Processing 1703 [1012] Path: /Applications/Audio/*/SP-Processing 1703.app/Contents/MacOS/SP-Processing 1703 Id...

Re: QUNeo v1.2 Features Announced

When I was talking with the marketing guy, I'm sure he said a PC version was on the way :( Yes, I have a Zeta 5 string in the arsenal. Not worth trying out with a mono pickup if I can't get my 2.8 MBP to work well with the polyphonic one... ho hum....
