Re: Softstep is outputting cc#86 randomly

Is there some way to turn off SSCOM on a mac? or do you mean make sure that SSCOM isn't selected as the output port in the Editor? It's been a while but before I moved from PC to Mac (I could be wrong) I think I recall SSCOM as an option in the output port drop down. Logic sees all midi, but I did k...

Softstep is outputting cc#86 randomly

My Softstep (1st gen) is outputting cc# 86 randomly, quite frequently. Midi monitor is picking it up as coming from port 1. I've ruled out all my other midi devices & narrowed it down to the Softstep. It also seems to on occasion output a volume change which is bring the volume of some of my VI'...

Re: Softstep triggering keycommands in Logic

I got it sorted. I had to set the values to min=0 max=1 in both the softstep & Logics controller assignments. :D

Re: Softstep triggering keycommands in Logic

I'm having a similar problem myself, I'm just using the Logic Transport Demo preset with Logic Pro X. All of the MMC stop, play, record are working fine but I can't get key commands to work. The particular ones I'm trying to use are next & previous track. I've done what has been suggested in the...

Re: Scene transfer PC to MAC ??

If you're running the same version of the SoftStep Editor on both computers and don't have any important scenes on the Mac you wouldn't want to lose, you can even skip the Librarian step. Just drop the Presets folder from the PC right over the Presets folder on the Mac. The preset structure is the ...

Re: Scene transfer PC to MAC ??

OK, I think I've figured it out. move the presets folder from the PC to somewhere on the Mac (but not to the default presets folder on the mac) Run the Librarian application browse to the imported presets folder select the scene & import to a free slot. I haven't got the mac yet to try this but ...

Scene transfer PC to MAC ??

I'm moving to mac as my main studio DAW. I have some scenes saved on my PC that I'd like to export to the mac when it comes. There's a link in the scene sharing part of the forum but it doesn't take you to the tutorials. Maybe its possible to save the scenes to the softstep in standalone & impor...

Re: SoftStep Librarian and Converter Tutorials

I'd appreciate it if someone here at KMI could direct us to the tutorials for this, because the links above that used to take you to Quneo are now redirecting to the K bow.

I'd also like to know is it possible to export a scene from PC to mac, because I'm moving to mac soon.
