Re: K-Mix with Linux

We currently have no plans for Linux support. Although there are a few vocal supporters of Linux, there isn't enough demand for us to dedicate resources (both immediately and moving forward) to complete Linux support.

Re: Tilt function on the Rotaries?

I'm not sure what a 'tilt' function is in regards to a rotary control. Are you looking for angle (location) and radius?
The QuNeo rotaries are fundamentally different in their design from the rotaries on the K-Mix, so there is no option to include that functionality in future firmware update.

Re: Some feature requests and questions

K-Mix is an incredibly complex product, and any time we touch even a small part of the code it requires a significant amount of time and resources to implement, integrate, test, and release new features. We have your feature request on our list, and we appreciate your patience.

Re: K-Mix with Linux

Unfortunately, we have no resurces for testing or supporting Linux at this time. I would have to say it's an issue with the compatibility with Linux and the K-Mix not any manufacturing defect or hardware failure. The fact that it works with one MIDI specification on Linux and not another reinforces ...

Re: Working with multiple notes on each quadrant

Yeah, so it seems there's a general issue on older Mac systems with the Editor. 10.9 is pretty much a requirement at this point on Mac. Could you try Chrome and see if there's any difference? As for the MIDI on windows thing, yes, that's normal. And incredibly frustrating. The class compliant MIDI i...

Re: Working with multiple notes on each quadrant

Your preset works as expected on my machine. What browser and version are you using? Do the factory presets work as expected? Can you make other changes to presets? i.e. changing note values, CCs, etc. The versions of chrome we have verified to work need 10.9, so this might be a general compatibilit...

Re: Working with multiple notes on each quadrant

Yes, that's what that screen shot shows in the MIDI monitor, that multiple note events are coming out simultaneously. I'll need OS, Editor version, firmware version, etc. if you want any more advice than 'this should work'. It's hard to fix things we can't reproduce. Exporting your preset and sendin...

Re: Working with multiple notes on each quadrant

There isn't really any setup involved, just add notes to the Quadrant, and that quadrant will send multiple notes.

In this setup, quadrant A will play notes 42 and 45.

Re: How to get software to recognize BopPad's aftertouch?

Map the pressure CC to volume. That's one way to do what you want. It won't be polyphonic though - Live doesn't support poly aftertouch messages. If the editor indicates that the BopPad is putting out messages as you'd expect, it's a matter of configuring the software to respond properly to the mess...
