Re: Sierra

The K-Mix definitely is.
The SS Editors, do have some issues on certain Sierra machines, but there are some workarounds, and we are working on a fix.

Re: Pairing of 2 mono channels?

Yep, totally possible! You can pair them from the Editor, or from the K-Mix by holding shift and hitting the rotary above the channels in question.

Re: Softstep presets lost ...

Sorry to hear that you've lost your old presets. There are some file issues with the most recent Editor on 10.12. This is solved on most systems by moving the Editor directly into the Applications folder. If you didn't back up your presets, or don't have the Editor that you used to make the presets,...

Re: Softstep editors won't load presets

Yeah, it seems to be different from system to system. On some they work fine in the Editor folder, on others they need to be directly in the applications folder. On others, they don't work at all. pretty perplexing.

Re: softstep 2 sometimes doesn't respond

I always recommend using Standalone.
Make sure you have the latest version of the Editor 2.0.3
The differences between Hosted and Standalone are detailed in the manual. But the big ones are more sources (top, bottom, some others), and the Nav Pad is much more flexible.

Re: How to get the right amount of pressure sensitivity?

You should look into the user tables. You can define a curve. For instance you would want there to be zero movement from say 0-20, then start ramping up to 127 after that. There's more info in the manual.

Re: Help: how can I make output in stereo

The main outs (or aux outs if you are using them) combine all signals according to how the input channels are panned. In your explanation you do not mention specifically going into pan mode and panning channel 1 to the left, channel 2 to the right, channel 3 to left and channel 4 to the right. Input...

Re: Global to Presets

You can export the globals just as you do presets. You can just import them, and all your settings will be restored.
Not likely going to happen from the hardware.
