Re: Logic Pro 9 Templates

I'm not sure if Logic 9 is still available for download actually. The template is pretty darn simple as well, there's nothing that a bit of MIDI mapping and time wouldn't accomplish.

Re: Ableton rack chain selector moves, but...

I'll have to do some more testing on windows, to see if there's something going on with how Windows is processing the incoming radius values. From my testing on Mac OS, if the chain selector moved to the area corresponding to a different sample, it played the appropriate sample. The only way I could...

Re: Ableton rack chain selector moves, but...

If you hook up the BopPad to a MIDI monitor you can see that the initial radius is sent at the exact same time as the Note on message. How do you have the chain selector configured in Live? Are you using all 127 values to spread the chains? Have you tried using normal radius, as opposed to initial ra...

Re: IOS Support

It's not like you can't use the device on iOS - so I think the assumption that we're 'missing out' may be a bit overstated.
I just said we are looking at options. We're considering it pretty seriously.

Re: Parallel Compression?

No its not due to lookahead. Its due to the internal latency of the K-Mix.
Purely analog systems have no DSP DA> AD conversion, and therefore have no intrinsic latency.Although fast, the DSP on the K-Mix does take some time (as do all DSP).

Re: IOS Support

If Apple would support web MIDI on iOS we could use the web Editor.
We are looking at options for getting around that, as well as the possibility of an app. no ETA on either right now though.

Re: Parallel Compression?

It works but, there is a small amount of delay between the two signals. (less than 5 ms), that may introduce phasing issues in some situations.

Re: Parallel Compression?

You technically could do it. Send audio to one of the aux sends, then back to one of the ins and compress that. Then send both versions of the audio to the master. Might introduce some small phasing issues though.
