Re: Global sensitivity: how to change through MIDI?

Ah, I see. You might be able to get some good results by bumping the global sensitivity. Keep in mind that raising the sensitivity will result in more false/double triggers, and increased crosstalk between quadrants.

Re: Global sensitivity: how to change through MIDI?

Global sensitivity is per preset.

Also, generally, you can play with your hands quite easily with the standard settings. Not sure if you're trying to trigger it with super light finger taps or something?

Re: MIDI Channel, Program Change messages per key

Using MIDI clips on a blank track with the MIDI To set to 12 Step port 1, you can assign a Program Change message to a clip. The option is in the Note section of the clip inspector.

Re: Editor features wishlist

The 12 Step is not a storage device, the presets aren't actually on the device. The Editor converts the presets into sysex data which is used to configure the 12 Step. Re: Global sensitivity: how to change through MIDI?

No there is not a way to change any of the internal settings through MIDI. Modifying presets via MIDI is not a supported feature. The only workaround would be to setup multiple presets with different sensitivity settings and recall those. Not sure what the practical application would be of exposing ...

Re: 2 or more BopPad at the same time ?

I would make sure that the presets on each device are sending different MIDI messages, or sending on different MIDI channels. You can also use an SS at the same time with no res...

Re: More tutorials?

Sorry your reply got buried, It was attached to a three year old thread and slipped through the cracks. "Setting up the Softstep" is such a hugely vague request, that it doesn't give me much to go on. I could write a tutorial on setting up the SS, that gives no practical advice to your spe...
