Re: Wireless 12 step?

Anybody got a wireless system running on their 12 step or similar midi controller? I know Roland do this http://www.roland.co.uk/products/productdetails.aspx?p=1231 And m-audio do this http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov06/articles/midair25.htm But I think it's for midi outputs only. Is there a way...

Flashing lights when using Ipad

I just started using the 12 step again and noticed the lights stop flashing after 6 flashes and they come on with two different iPhones with wired power using the usb adapter but they just keep flashing when I use the same set up with two different iPads. Problem solved after I switched from the iPh...

I was looking for a solution for learning one handed keyboard playing. It dawned on me that is exactly what an accordion player does. Then while looking for lessons on-line I came across the Horner midi controller app on my Ipad Pro. I used core midi to Sampletank, Velcro to the iPad cover and hoock...

Image Adding a strap next. I am experimenting with using my left hand longer fingers playing the lower keys from the back side of the keyboard, sort of like you would on the neck of the acoustic instrument.

Plug & Play

I just recieve this amazing product but was quickly diappointed when I interfaced with my iphone 6 plus as it only turned the lights on with no midi. I then tried my ipad mini and ipad pro but the lights didn't even come on. When I interfaced with my Macbook it worked like a charm. I then interfaced...

12 Step - Power using a camera connection to IOS

Found that even though my camera connector can be plugged into external power which charges the IPAD Pro while I use it, it didn't furnish enough power to the 12 Step. The lights flash on and off so it was getting some power. I then plugged a usb rechargeable battery pack into the mini usb slot of t...

Re: Fast way to program chords.

I play a wind controller and I was using a Mac for my sampled sounds. Most sound patches are set up to be controlled by keyboards so I didn't find much use for my Ipad Pro except for sheet music display. Now that I discovered the 12 Step I found some really nice sounds and a few chord apps that work...

Guitarcapo+ for Ipad

I am just setting things up but this is a great strumming app and it has great internal guitar sounds much less takes midi in and out. It needs a few things like being able to title your chord banks, drag and drop chord library, and being able to set up more than 6 chords. The internal guitar sound ...

Re: Changing 12 Step presets over MIDI

Is there any possibility of KMI developing an iPad version of the editor? Knowing Apple, this may not even be possible, but I thought I'd ask. If all you want to do is trigger chords you can leave the 12 Step set up for chromatic notes (or using the bottom row 1 through 7 for Roman numeral chords o...
