Midi expander, NO midi out

Hallo! I just bought a midi expander, but no midi comes out from it when connected to my softstep. All tested with original cables. Midi in light blinks when sending midi thru it. But midi out light doesn't just blink at all. Is it defective? Is there any adjustment I have to do to my softstep (whic...

Re: Nav Keys Programmable

standalone mode... allow navpad keys to be programmable. bitte!!! they way the navpads behave in standalone, is really absurd: if you program them to be used as "modline", you need to launch the advanced editor everytime you connect the softstep in order to make it "wake up". oth...

SoftStep: complains at a very high level

hallo from berlin, i invested a good money in my softstep 2 years ago. i had big expectations, here is how it goes so far: somebody forgot to put a press sensor in the middle of the pads (!!), so it doesn't matter how strong you press them, most of the times they won't respond. i had to glue little ...

Re: Anyone using Live's Looper? Undo button triggers by itse

hi nilzie, it´s very weird if you don´t have the "undo" button mapped to any midi control that it activates by it self, anyway try with "midi monitor" http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ so you can check if any other midi data is sent from your ss. but it also looks very weird... ...

Re: congratulation & crashes

Re: two feet = multitouch!!

great! it works.
thanks sarah for your quick reply.
what about sending the velocity of a midi note? i am shure this must be possible, but i just don´t get how...

i want to press a pad and, depending on the pressure, send the velocity of the note, as the drum pads.

is this possible??

thanks....
