X-Y hold sent CC positions after pad release

There should be a 'mode' for the X-Y controls under each pad such that the latest/last CC that was sent while the pad was activated remains as the 'held' CC position. This gives the responding instrument (such as a percussion sound that is principally controlled by the initiation/strike of the note)...

COMA - named presets in pull-down list

Having 'Preset1' - 'Preset16' is not working. This needs to be something to the effect of 'Ableton', 'Reaktor', 'Kontakt'. Nuff said.

QuNeo jamming with SonicCouture's Pan Drum

http://youtu.be/eBHq_Xms-LA This is something I set up and shot this morning while goofing around with programming QuNeo in COMA mode. It's pretty self-explanatory - as I did screen caps of the 'important' stuff that's being controlled in the Kontakt instrument. The one additional note is that you'l...

Re: No Software Updates in Over a Year?

I wrote that quote - and I stand by it. I used to work for Bob Moog - and he could be a chronic procrastinator. I edited an article he wrote for the encyclopedia of applied physics - and it took him so long to finish it that they changed it from "electronic music" to "music, electroni...

Re: FR: MIDI afterpressure (Channel and Poly)

Unless there's something about the QuNeo I don't know about, I think you'll need to set up a general MIDI controller out of QuNeo and then transform it into Channel Aftertouch inside Ableton Live. :-( Aftertouch uses a different status bit than general MIDI control IDs. That's why I asked for this F...

Re: QuNeo How to use in cubase as a remote & vst midi contro

I've been using Cubase for more than 20 years. I'm also pretty good with routing MIDI and external controllers. So when I say your post makes almost *no* sense to me, I'm not being flippant. Can you be more specific/accurate/detailed in what you're asking? If I was to guess - and it's only a wild gu...

K & M iPad(2) stand holder - QuNeo approved (w/ caveats)

Just a quick FYI - I tried out the K & M iPad2 stand mount with my laptop stand and it worked out very well - with one 'caveat'. See the attached pictures. As QuNeo users know, the *third* dimension of touch sensitivity of the QuNeo means that whatever it's sitting on/in has to be robust in orde...

FR: play MIDI note chord (with delay)

Again - piggybacking another request for the QuNeo on my first note... While playing with HALion Sonic, I found a few presets that had arpeggiated chords 'under' a single virtual FlexPhraze pad. This is really great to play them directly from the QuNeo (and using the X-Y MIDI CCs to control the 'Sph...

FR: MIDI afterpressure (Channel and Poly)

Love - Love - LOVE my new QuNeo. I'm currently working mapping various pads and controls into HALion Sonic SE and Cubase. There are two features that I'd like to see implemented (and may already be on the road map). 1) Send MIDI Poly after-pressure for the corresponding note that's assigned to the d...

Re: Logarithmic vs Linear Setting for Expression Pedal

Thanks - I got the word from support on that thread. I really like the 'throw' of the Yamaha pedal more than then Roland. I'm going to try a few different linear pots (100K, 250K) and try to find one that has the right range for the amount of 'wipe' that it has in the design (about half of the total...
