Re: Device/Route modline settings will not save

I agree with you Dave. I really think they could make some vast improvements with a better editor and another firmware update.

Re: Device/Route modline settings will not save

There are a lot more engineering flaws to this than just the shape of the pedal. I wrote a post to them telling them that they put the lights on the wrong side of the button. Think about it. Most of us are right footed and will use the pedals with our right foot. If we use our right foot, our head i...

Re: Device/Route modline settings will not save

That's what I do now. I'm pretty frustrated with the device, frankly.

Re: Foot On Toggles Note, Other Key Pressed Toggles Note Off

Ok, I have that, but I don't quite get what you mean. Are you saying that I would set a timer to stop the notes? But wouldn't that defeat the purpose I'm going for? I don't want to have to time or tempo anything, I just want a note to turn on when I hit it and turn off if I press the same pad or any...

Re: Foot On Toggles Note, Other Key Pressed Toggles Note Off

Let me check that, still not right. I would love to still be able to use the 1st pad to toggle off as well, that way I can end a song by turning the last chord off. I hope this is making sense to anyone who reads this.

Re: Foot On Toggles Note, Other Key Pressed Toggles Note Off

After four hours on this this afternoon, the only thing I have found to work is to reduce my chords to 3 note chords and to use "Other Key Pressed" to send velocities of 0 to the same three notes. This isn't ideal and I would prefer a solution where it only required one Modline to do this....

Re: SoftStep4Live Released

I don't need this script as I don't have live or a mac, but I think it's ridiculous that you would have to do all that work for your needs. If I was smart enough to know how to do that for my needs, I would do it, too. Kudos to you. KMI, quit dropping the ball. Hardware - awesome, software - pitiful!

Re: 3 Requests

Here's another feature request. You should find a way to make modulation lines speak to each other. For instance, I'm struggling right now to figure out how to use "Other Key Pressed" to send a Toggle 0 message, but if i could set up a line that went "Other Key Pressed" > Foot On...

Foot On Toggles Note, Other Key Pressed Toggles Note Off?

I really wish that either I was a lot smarter with SS or that it was much easier because what I want to do with it seems pretty simple and I can't figure it out. I have set up a scene where keys 1-6 each have a 4-note chord assigned to them. I was using it with a Foot On message through a linear tab...

Re: Keeping a note depressed/non-depressed

Does anyone know how to take this a step further, as in I have the notes toggled, how do I use the "Other Pressed Key" function to toggle it off when I start another note?
