Re: Newbie user

When in Notes scene, how do you change to another bank of notes? i.e. what function does the nav up and down have? why not make it next octave (or pitch my series of notes up an octave). I was thinking of having a keyed scale rather than chromatic and then being able to shift this scale up an entire...

Re: Ableton Live Looping Trick!

I actually watched your youtube clip before coming here and before buying the softstep. I'm just a newbie but there are heaps of ideas that people are posting about how to do this. The softstep software has an editor for each button on the foot controller. In this editor there is 6 possible things y...

I've been playing with the ableton live demo.
experimenting with the video tutorial and different things in the softstep editor for the wah pedal on key 2.
Can't get accurate results with my big foot. is that regular?
Seems that the pressure works best in a corner

Hey there, Just got my softstep and I'm wondering how the hell to use it (haven't read the manual ... much) I'm planning on dedicating the school holidays to mastering it in a few days time. I want to use it initially to launch clips in ableton and navigate around the clips, playing and recording ne...

Re: Humming noise

I'm a newbie but I'm getting a hum coming from the actual unit very loud near the usb port with my ear to the backing, and a lower octave near the end of the unit under the 1 and 2 buttons.
