Re: buzzing noise

Er..belatedly, yes thanks (don't check this forum very often!) - the guitar works, nicely earthed, humbucking etc. But I've still got the SS buzzing noize ('til I switch the lights off). The annoying thing is that I've got it to remember to switch off the lights when I plug it in, but that comes at ...

Re: Device/Route modline settings will not save

Sorry, "....old piece of gear...??????" - it's only EIGHTEEN months old! It's hardly begun to walk yet! I have an original Fuzz Face, still working, A Big Muff, still working, Musicman amp, still working, Sony GP5s, more than ten years old, still working, original Lexicon Jamman, Digitech ...

Re: Mac SS key editor windows problem

Yep, in fact I'm using it tomorrow at a gig with a drummer (duo), in east London (Luna Lounge, Leytonstone, if you're anywhere near!) & quite looking forward to what I'm finally achieving with it! But....it's been a long haul cobbling together an alternative controller in Plogue Bidule. Sadly I ...

Well done! Your patience is rewarded:)
Perhaps there should be a repository of such undocumented behaviour discoveries (just the useful ones that is!).

Re: Mac SS key editor windows problem

Er...yes! I seem to recall having a moan about this 18 months or so ago (& getting no helpful response).
I just checked v2.1 (I no longer use the KMI software), & it's still the same! Drives you mad dunnit?

Re: how to calibrate the raw sensors?

Impressive 'on stage' calibration there..... I just had a thought (ahhh, don't think!!) about a sort of absolute calibration, that involved one of those adjustable G-clamp type automobile valve-spring compressors (are you still with me here?), which one might use to compress each pad to a (roughly) ...

Re: how to calibrate the raw sensors?

I just got my replacement SS after the USB socket broke, & yesterday when trying it out noticed one particular sensor not responding even when practically standing on it. Remembering this post, I did a vaguely scientific test today, of standing a heavy block of steel on each pad in turn (I've go...

Re: Simple "pushbutton" Mod

Went down this route some months ago, since I wanted to use each of the four sensors individually; works pretty well with a bit of careful max-value-type detection in the (non-proprietory) software!
