Re: Will updating firmware remove standalone presets?

It will revert to factory presets on the hardware, but it should be s simple matter of pushing your presets from the editor back to the hardware. AS long as you have them saved onto your computer they will be available to reload to the hardware.

Re: CoMA Mode for 12 step?

Sadly, no, there is no way to do this. In order to do the mapping you'll have to remove all the ccs (or midi notes) from the preset, load it to the board and do the desired mapping. Then assign the messages you removed from the proper controls, remove the others, load the preset to the board, and do...

Re: XY mapping issues with CoMA, Sonar X3, and Alchemy

No problem. To get the most out of the QuNeo you definitely need to spend some time with the editor, and thinking about what exactly you want to do with it. In that sense it's not an "out of the box: type of controller, which I think is a good thing. It force the artist to really evaluate what ...

Re: "hold" and "drop" mode for fader location

The pressure and note value will return to zero (or in accordance to the behavior you define with the normal/toggle, and the cc output menus), but location should latch. Be sure you are sending/mapping the correct cc's to your software.

Re: XY mapping issues with CoMA, Sonar X3, and Alchemy

The sensors don't behave in drop mode, but some values do. Like note, and pressure on the sliders, but location shouldn't jump back to zero on the sliders. Alternatively you can map the pads to latch location while in x/y mode. It sounds like you are mapping pressure form the sliders to Alchemy, whi...

Re: action compared to QuNexus?

Both of you guys need to chill out. I think both of the controllers would be perfectly suited for controlling percussion. The QuNeo's layout seems more intuitive to me for finger drumming. As far as 'feel' (which is a very subjective thing anyway), the pads on the qunexus are raised and have a littl...

Re: How to achieve user mode 2 in launchpad emulation.

metatron is indeed correct. There is no User 2 emulation. If you refer to the documentation on the Launchpad Emulation, it gives you session, and the different mixer modes of the launchpad script. User 2 mode on the launchpad is an unscripted mode, it is a 'blank slate' so to speak. It is the one mo...

Re: Foot On + Dbl Trig seperately on 1 pad?

Without some external programming there is now way to do this. If you have a source set to foot on, it will send a message EVERY TIME there is a foot on, regardless of what happens behind it. That logic would be easy to achieve in Max, you could set up a midi device that takes incoming messages for ...

Re: Foot On + Dbl Trig seperately on 1 pad?

Well if you think about the logic behind those two situations you can't do it with simple mod line sources. you'd have to use foot off for the first trigger. The logic would be something like: Send A on foot off unless the foot has been on the trigger for long enough to trigger B. Unfortunately you ...
