Re: Keyworx and Softstep in Ableton.

You can 'undo' using Midistroke, midiPipe or Bome Midi Translator for instance. But, again, next Softstep version (1.2) is supposed to have a Keyworx scene that you'll be able to use along with your other scenes, in standalone mode for instance. KMI people, correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Keyworx and Softstep in Ableton.

From what I understand, Keyworx only works by itself so far. They say they'll include a keyworx scene to be added in the main Softstep application. Meanwhile, all the operations you described are easily doable in Ableton Live via midi, with the Softstep and the app (and without Keyworx which you onl...

Re: Convert from Max to Cocoa, please!

Thanks Keith for your answer. Two things : 1. It doesn't seem to me that Cocoa developers cannot respond quickly to users requests. Most of them do actually respond as fast as you guys do so far. 2. You're recommending Standalone and I do agree, it's the best way of using the Softstep. But it's stil...

Re: Convert from Max to Cocoa, please!

+ 1 !

I said it before but this post sums it all. Cocoa please.

Or at least, make every operation possible in standalone mode.

Re: SoftStep Scene Librarian for Version 1.1 BETA 2 (MAC)

I agree. I already said so in a private message to Danny. I think it is way too long and all those vague explanations won't dissipate an impression of unfinished, premature software. I'm including the main application which takes about the same time to load (at least 40 minutes). Let' be clear, I'm ...

That's the Macbook I'm using live and it's working great. You can go for it.

Re: SoftStep Scene Librarian for Version 1.1 BETA 2 (MAC)

This is very strange. There used to be another topic earlier in the day announcing the Librarian BETA 2, but it disappeared. I took time to explain in detail what was not functionning with it, but my post is gone with the wind. A bit discouraging. So, here I go again : when I open it, as soon as I'v...

Re: Kernel Panics since SoftStep software installation

I would re-format the drive. I've always got out of those kind of problems with a good old re-format.
And yes, I know it's long and a real pita :-)

Re: My Experience With Version 1.1

Just to inform you that until today, I was using Sofstep build 913 and with the very last version posted - that is build 916 - all my problems when downloading scenes to the SS, are gone. No more endless loop.
And thanks Sarah for pointing out the 'build' question.
So hallelujah too :-)
