Re: SS2 for Looping in Live: Toggle/LED for Rec/Overdub/Play

I'm reading this thread a bit late, but I just want to add that you CAN use Live's big button and still have the leds follow its behaviour. Use Bome Midi Translator and some conditional rules and you'll get exactly what you want. That is use the same pad for several operations such as 1st press reco...

Re: Volume Control Setup:

Try this: Screen Shot 2015-04-26 at 9.41.55 AM.png The lower line will set the Y inc to the desired value on initialization ONCE. so you don't have to manually increment up to 90, or whatever value you need to get to. OR, use a Bome Midi Translator rule to change your volume control from absolute t...

Re: SoftStep: Toggle with proper LED status in Ableton

That's when I usually come, saying : use Bome Midi Translator for that :) If you dig in this forum you'll find my posts explaining how I achieved total control of LEDs on the Softstep. But I doubt you'll be ready tomorrow. Oops tomorrow is already today as I'm late in answering. You'll need to spend...

Re: Pre-sales questions

'gargas' is so damned right :-) Bome Midi Translator is THE way to go for "complex" setups. Typically those "if then" conditions you mentioned.

Re: softstep long press - Mainstage/SooperLooper

:)) No I don't ! It just saved me from mental fatigue :)
But it happens that each time I want help, people seem to be blocked on things that BMT could resolve easily. So sorry if I'm repeating the same thing over and over, I'm sure it can open a few doors for some people.

Re: softstep long press - Mainstage/SooperLooper

Check out Bome Midi Translator, you're gonna waist your time here. I'm not saying they won't answer you but that you'll soon discover the limitations of the Softstep+Editor. As I said many times they should bundle it with BMT. Link : http://www.bome.com/

Re: 30 min training for Ableton looper?

Better to keep all your "songs" into one project. Just separate them with a few empty scenes. I also use dummy clips to give songs a title, 1 clip by track named with a letter like : S O N G -- O N E etc. placed in line on the same scene.
