Re: Data Modifiers?! How do these work??

But you do know what the counter does. You said so right here: How cares about counting foot presses, what use does that get? And count up and down...what, and for what purpose? The counter counts. It keeps a running count. You can increment the count, decrement the count, or have it jump to a speci...

Re: Quneo not working in FL Studio 11

Do you have any other audio/MIDI apps open at the same time as FL? Like the QuNeo Editor? If so, that's the problem. Windows will only allow a class-compliant MIDI device (which the QuNeo is) to be connected to a single application at a time.

Re: Data Modifiers?! How do these work??

If you can't imagine any scenarios where you would want to add multipliers, offsets, smoothing, set min/max values, or scale values with different curves — then trust me, you should just stick with the Basic Editor. It'll send notes, let you use X/Y/Pressure, send program changes, make a toggle, etc...

Re: Data Modifiers?! How do these work??

Yeah, there's a nice section called "Data Modifiers" in the manual. Pages 36-37. You can also just hover your mouse over something and a tooltip will pop up that says what it does. And you might want to check out the Basic Editor, it's much easier than the Advanced Editor. It doesn't have ...

Re: Using Quneo to emulate Kaossilator Pro

1. Are your fingers spaced apart from one another when you press down with two fingers? There needs to be some distance between the two fingers to be recognized as the width gesture. 2. Does the long slider actually have a width CC assigned on the preset you're using? Width can't get sent out if wid...

Re: SS2 sensitivity

Yeah, that should work. Also, have you tried setting the SoftStep 2's sensor response to "average", as opposed to "maximum"? I think SoftStep 2 defaults to maximum (could be wrong though). With "maximum", only one sensor on a SoftStep key has to cross the on threshold t...

I doubt you'll be able to access the LEDs for replacing. It's quite a compact, multi-layered board with surface mount components.

Re: SS2 sensitivity

SoftStep 2 is definitely much more sensitive than SoftStep 1. A common complaint about SoftStep 1 was that it was too difficult to trigger. I like the new sensitivity, but it's possible we went a bit beyond the happy medium. Firmware files can be found here: http://files.keithmcmillen.com/downloads/...

Re: Remote Power Kit for QuNeo?

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's because they just missed it when the store was updated, or if we don't sell it anymore. I'll have to check. It's pretty much only necessary if you want full LED brightness when using QuNeo with iPad, or if you don't want QuNeo draining the iPad's batteries slightly faster. ...

Re: left & right source input?

There's no native way to do that with the editor. The Bome's method you're describing is definitely the way I would go. I'm not too familiar with the operation of Bome's, but there's just likely something set up incorrectly on that end. I'd also maybe give the ranges a little "dead zone", ...
