Re: QUNEO HARDWARE SAD PROBLEM

Apologies if we missed anything! I'm not seeing your email address come up in a search of the ticket history. The guy who handles the replacements will contact you directly.

Re: on-off

Yeah, you're using a very old version of the editor. That's 1.1 right there. 1.21 was better, and 2.0 is much, much better. But if you want to stay with that RAM-hog version for some reason, remove the second modline completely (which, the way you have it set up will only output a 0 when both presse...

Re: Hosts/DAWs that can receive Quneo's full midi output?

Yeah, QuNeo does not send actual "aftertouch", channel or polyphonic.

Pressure just comes out as CCs, which Ableton has no problem dealing with.

Re: Polyafter Touch VS Pressure

I don't have Zebra 2 or Diva so I can't help you with the setup on that end, but QuNexus can definitely output Polyphonic Aftertouch messages (which you are correct, it is it's own special MIDI message). I've attached a screenshot of how to set that up. It's just a matter of using the "Pressure...

Believe me, I would love to come on here and give some information, or even announce that we're starting to work on an update, but it seems like a QuNeo update just isn't on the radar at the moment.

Re: Please don't kill off KeyWorx

Yeah, I agree we should do a KeyWorx update.

To anyone else reading this, convergys2 made another thread that illustrates how to get KeyWorx (mostly) working with the newer 2.0 firmware here: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=2404

Re: External pedal weirdness - SS1 - Editor 2.2 - Win7

What expression pedal is it? And would you happen to know the resistance of the potentiometer inside? 10K to 25K pots tend to work best. Also, is it a linear or logarithmic tapered pot? That can affect things as well. Linear is best for expression pedals, logarithmic is more suited to volume pedals....

Re: presets and update from 2.00 to 2.01

As I said, the official way of moving presets is to Export and Import from within the editor. Copying the presets folder from the package contents and replacing it works, but isn't really encouraged. And a better FAQ is toward the end of the SoftStep manual. The one on the website has not been updat...

Re: presets and update from 2.00 to 2.01

The presets (on Mac) are now inside of the package contents of the app itself. You can right-click and select "Show Package Contents" — the presets folder is then in Contents/Resources/. I'm pretty sure you can copy this folder over and replace the one in the 2.01 package contents. I don't...

Re: How do you move stand alone preset to another computer?

If SSCOM is red in Ableton, that means another application is currently connected to it (the editor or Bome's).

If you're sending the SoftStep MIDI through Bome's, you should use the Bome's MIDI port for the Input and Output to the SoftStep Mixer script, not SSCOM.
