kmi support ROCKS!!

i dont need any help, i just wanted to post my appreciation for quality and fast customer support. my unit was replaced promptly with no bs from the company at all. thanks for backing your product. I know that sounds silly, but with some companies it's a real hassle.

i like to use a double trigger and long trigger on the same pad. One example is to map a mute button to a double trigger, and a record arm button to a long trigger (ableton live). i even have some pads with these two triggers and a y axis as well, so i get 3 functions. I also like the foot on/ press...

i fixed the power issues. it tried it with the two included usb cords that came with the unit before the post. yesterday i tried it with 2 more white cords from some keyboards and it seems to be working for now. thats good now can someone help me out with what the capabilities of the navigation pad ...

could someone let me know what the up/down buttons on the navigation pad in standalone mode is for? i can't map it like in hosted and was just wondering what this "move in increments of 10 ' is all about. also i'm not really sure what a program change message is for,. could someone explain Also...

also, its hella easy to set up the pads of the softstep to control drum racks in ableton through use of the user remote script.

Its been awhile, but I eventually set up a user remote script to handle this. Very easy to do, and now i have one scene that controls my 8 macros in any rack for live. Only works in standalone mode, but Ihave found this mode to better suit my needs, and since i only use a macbook (not pro) I don't u...

keystrokes as parameter destination.

I think it would be awsome to have keystrokes as an option under parameter destination in softstep editor. just like how i choose CC, I could choose keystroke, enter the keyboard shortcut and instantly have control over the DAW with the press of a pedal. Opens up interesting layering options as well...
