Y Nav Pads

Please, Please, Please add a new modline source for the Y nav pads to enable sending a cc or note independently when the Y nav pads (North, South) are pressed. This could be a "foot on" and could be used as a bank up/down and truly make the nav pads more functional. Thanks.

Re: Really need Help!

Thanks for the reply. I have all 10 pads assigned to control the effects of each scene. I also have the x nav pad set to move between 8 different scenes. I' like for the Y nav pad to move up and down thru the presets (each preset has 8 scenes) by sending a CC or note each time I step on the +Y and a...

Really need Help!

I use the SoftStep for live performances in Standalone mode to control the Overloud TH2 amp simulator. I need to be able to use the up,down, left, right nav pads to send out notes or CCs or something in order to navigate patches. Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks.

Re: pedal use

I need some help. I'm using an expression pedal with SoftStep and I use the pedal to control volume in an amp simulator (MIDI mapped as a volume pedal). If I unplug the expression pedal the CC data defaults to 0 and as such the volume in the amp sim is turned all the way down. Is it possible program...

Re: Send Program change msg with scene select?

This is exactly how I use the SoftStep. The attached shows the modline that initiates the program change when the scene starts. Modline 2 is the one that does this case program change 3. The init source sends the message upon entering the scene, the offset in modline 2 seths the program number and t...

I meant to add that I use the SoftStep almost exclusively in the Standalone mode.

Display

It would be incredibly useful if the 4 character display could be changed with the changes in the Mod Lines. I use each pad as 2 (or 4) separate toggles by using the Y Live (and X Live) source and setting gain/offset accordingly. Would love to be able to change the display to represent the appropria...

Re: state recall

I too really wish this feature was possible. Even if just for the toggle/LEDs of the 10 pads an just when it's powered on. However, for me this shortcoming is eclipsed by the other wonderful features & utility of the device and I'll hang in there with the SoftStep.
