Re: Software bug with Nav Pad?

I doubt this will be useful but anyway, here you go... The fact that the red boxes display a '9' is because I first verified I was still getting data input when using sources other than 'Nav Y Inc/Dec'. When I then switched back to 'Nav Y inc/dec' it no longer worked so the values of 9 stayed the sa...

Re: Software bug with Nav Pad?

Well, it gets stranger since I just called a fellow musician who also has the Sofstep and he could reproduce the same exact problem!? I promise, nothing wrong with my modline. I can send a capture if you want but I know for sure it won't help. All I need to do is change the datasource to ANY other s...

Re: Software bug with Nav Pad?

Hi, Modline is on but that's not the point anyway because when I try another datasource, even with the modline off, the value are still received by the software and shown in those red boxes. I just get nothing with that 'Nav Y Inc-Dec' datasource, every other I've tried worked normally. This would b...

Re: Data Modifiers?! How do these work??

@elmquist I'm pretty sure that's what I'm already doing right now actually! ;-) I'm just skipping the part where I write the questions down prior to bringing them to the attention of the forum, I just write them directly in a post. ;-) I'm really excited about the few things I have already achieved ...

Re: Data Modifiers?! How do these work??

Elmquist, as I've said twice already in this thread, I have read the manual from cover to cover, not missing a word and often taking a pause to reflect on what was written, trying it out when I understood it enough, and re-read passages several times when I had a hard time understanding something, s...

Software bug with Nav Pad?

I think there might be a problem with the NavPad's 'Nav Y Inc-Dec' data source. When I press the North or South key of the Nav Pad of my SS1, nothing happens in the advanced editor? I mean, no value shows up in the red boxes (raw, value, result)? This is not the case with virtually every other sourc...

Why often 2 identical modlines at the top?

Hi, To help me learn how to use the SS, I'm having a look at the modlines in the presets and try to see the logic in the settings there. One thing I don't understand is, firstly why do we HAVE to have always a minimum of 2 modlines to program a key and secondly, why is it that lots of modlines I loo...
