12step for stompbox

I thought this answer was up but can't find it. Currently I'd like to try using the 12step for a stomp box. It works fine in chrmo mode or most other assigning notes in ableton, but what I would like is for the lights to represent if the effect is on or not. Currently I have to press the pad twice t...

Re: Foot technique

This is where i wish i had smaller feet. Honestly the ergonomics are a challenge with the ss IMHO. I have wide s11 feet and wear Merrel barefoot type shoes or my saucony flat shoes when playing. I also added those furniture bumper plastic squares to the top of many pads(in another post) to have a be...

Turn back light off permanently in hosted

Turn back light off permanently.
I use ss primarily in hosted and every time I plug it in, it reverts to them being on though I've off'd them and saved.
Any work around?

Re: SS always unresponsive until unplugged & replugged

It's a wonderful bug included with the SoftStep! It's best to never boot up the computer with the SoftStep plugged in — you'll need to unplug and replug before it starts working normally. I know it's pretty annoying not being able to leave things plugged in... I have the same problem. going to buy ...

Re: Setup for DAW and Transport Control

With in cubase you need to learn how to use the remote section. There is a section in the manual about it. Basically you tell cubase what to do with a cc from what controller and match that programming to the ss. You could build it from scratch or You could use an already made layout like mackie con...

crossfade/mixing two tracks effects

I'm trying to fade one track in while fading another out. Either in a channel effects rack, 2 track, effect, ect. Example Yincrement Down would bring A mix up while simultaneously bringing B mix down and vise versus. I'm familiar with Abltons AB crossfade but would like to do this between two chains...

Re: Simple "pushbutton" Mod

Any tips on ones that click?
I'd really like to feel a click when I press so I know that I've pressed the pad all the way. And not have to look for a light.
cheers
