Yeah, it doesn't take much reading on the SoftStep forum to realize that an editor update would be appreciated. For users not having received the above mentioned email KMI has posted screen shots of their new editor on their facebook page. Looks great!

An updated editor? Hmmm. I suppose that's good news, but it's over a year too late. I sold mine on craigslist for quite a loss after getting tired of waiting. :|

Wow what a nice holiday surprise, I'm off to check it out! Apparently only 500mb of memory usage too, and faster loading. It it meets with the hype, I'm a happy camper. :D
Cheers,

So there we go! Free choice between christmas carols - and chrismas carrots! :?

Seriously, being a new editor written more or less from the ground up it will take some time to get right. I am just happy to see SoftStep users getting better software to support their controllers.

Cool beans... can't wait to try it (sadly I am not on the beta team).

KMI may make a repeat customer of me yet :)

Well its about time! I was really beginning to think that it was a case of abandonware.

Hopefully the expression pedal will be more useful in this version (i.e. be able to switch CCs with pedal presses) & the whole programming thing much easier.

Looking forward to dusting off my ol' softstep in 2014 ;)
