I just got a Moog ep-3 last week, but I haven't tried it with a sofstep yet. I'll give it a once over when I get home today and tell you what i find out.

Thanks! Would be nice to know. I don't see a pot value on the intro net.

My Moog ep2 doesn't work well, only about 1/3 the range at the end makes any changes. The ep2 has a 50k pot.

I know that the Ep-3 has a switch on the bottom, and a knob on the side. I wasn't able to get around to it yesterday, but I'll let you know soon(ish).

That sounds like it may have more to do with the taper of the pot. Linear taper is best, but if only 1/3 of the range does anything it could be a logarithmic or exponential tapered pot.

Is the basic SS editor and 12step pedal set to Exponential?

Looks like the ep2 works fine with advanced editor on linear(better on Log), but when plugged in 12step or use basic the pedal gives me the 1/3 range of the pedal.

looks like I should move this to 12step and recommend pedals.
Got the moog ep2 to work with qunexus and ss1 but (1/3 exponentialish) for 12step. Thanks for the note to look into it. My modded 10k pot crybaby works well with 12step though.
