Additional Control in Standalone Mode

Postby Lid55 » Sun Jun 08, 2014 6:28 am

I noticed in the new version manual that LongTrig and DblTrig seem to be available as options in Standalone mode. Is this a typo? In the old version manual these functions are "hosted mode only".

Additionally, if this is true, are any of the factory presets set up to utilize either function? Unfortunately, my computer is to old (PPC Mac) to run the SoftStep editors, so I can't currently reprogram.

Thanks for any info,

Absolutely correct - apparently - according to the new manual, but given all other long press, short trig/dble trig/ latch/ navpad etc modes are stated as hosted mode only, I wouldn't hold my breath!
I haven't investigated this yet, but it looks intriguing (from a hosted viewpoint!).

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... might be a typo.

Good news is, I now have access to the SoftStep editors via an old WindowsXP machine.

As of 2.0, Long Trig and Dbl Trig do indeed work in Standalone mode.

Yeah... I found out today in testing via the editors! Very very sweet. Helps me a ton in programming an intuitive looper.
