win 8 compatability

Postby ryanclousemusic » Mon Jun 16, 2014 12:08 am

I just downloaded the softstep software version 2.1 for my win 8 yoga 2 pro (convertible laptop). When I open either editor (basic or advanced), they open up incredibly tiny, with no way of maximizing. I have tried changing my resolution, font size, screen size, etc, with no avail. I double checked version 1 software and it opens up as it should in full size. Is anyone else having these issues with a win 8 computer, or a convertible laptop for that matter? I'd love to move on to the version 2 software and be done with v.1's bugs, but this is terribly frustrating. Any help would be great

It seems that this is a relatively common issue with applications and Yoga 2 Pro computers: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Idea-Window ... -p/1286183

Do the QuNeo or QuNexus editors do this as well? They were written in the same development environment as the new SoftStep editors.
