Playing out side

Postby SLP » Thu Jul 10, 2014 2:21 pm

I've recently played outside under an umbrella and couldn't see the lights.
I'm set to play a few more outside gigs and trying to see if anyone has a magic idea.

Thanks

Playing in the outside during the day with anything that uses LEDs for lighting is always tough. Even if you're under a shelter it's next to impossible to see them effectively.

Best of luck.

here's a couple options maybe:

- devise some kind of sun-shade. Maybe attached to mic stand? Maybe use "black-out" material (thick cloth like material used behind drapes to help block out sunlight)
- use the SoftStep to additionally trigger some brighter lights
