Solo performer, transitioning from a complex hardware setup (Boomerang III, various pedals, Tascam mixer, and way too many DC power supplies) to a MacBook-based setup:

MacBook 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo running OS 10.6.7. Experimenting with Ableton Live vs Logic Pro. Mobius plugin for looping + various guitar/vocal plug-ins. Korg nanos for live mixing and control, MOTU Ultralite I/O. Just got SoftStep yesterday...so far controlling Mobius and other plug-ins, standalone mode.

News & Reviews: random and chaotic Google searches and forum participation.

Macbook Pro 15 i7 running Mainstage with edirol ua25 soundcard with mic and guitar in and output to board. With MalletKat Midi Marimba controller in through USB. Mainstage has vocal fx, guitar fx and ESX Samplers running

I really would love to get SoftStep working to control Mainstage but I have not yet got it working after over a week of working on it every night. It works about 20% of the time then nothing will get triggered for a while, then it will, then it won't...
