banks and x/y/pressure control

hey! first post here, just got a quneo for live performance and so far I'm loving it.

I'm using drumpad banks for my live set...
2 banks for rhythmic momentary fx controls, and 2 banks for sample launching.
I would like to assign filters and other fx to the x/y controls of the pads, but when I switch banks, the same 16 x/y controls remain active...

x/y/pressure data on pads should be able to automatically correspond with pad banks, no?
or at least have their own bank control...
!!assuming I'm not missing something!! If I am, apologies.

Has anyone found a workaround or created a script for this functionality? any help would be much appreciated.
thanks!
z

in fact, a full-fledged bank system including dedicated led controls for different pages would be INCREDIBLE.

Yeah, currently pad banks are really just more of a pad "transpose" function. Only the notes will change while the X/Y/Pressure CCs remain constant.

I'll definitely put this in as a feature request though.

I inadvertently check this part of the forum less frequently, so apologies ahead of time if my responses lag a little. We talked about this and went back and forth on a number of things. I think part of the issue is the uncertain UI for editing, and part of it is that we just needed to get 1.2 out and see how people used it, so we're still open to new ideas for how things could work. Is the idea that x/y/pressure would transpose as well? Or would you need to hand select x/y/pressure for every bank? Or is it that one would like x/y/pressure to not be active for certain banks?

I imagine completely customizable settings for each bank.

this would give users the most choice, but wh@ we got was much better than wh@ we had B4
8-)

I would be totally happy with just a full bank system.. that basically emulated 4 separate sets of 16 pads.
so the bank would not just transpose the notes of pads, but rather switched them out for another set...
each pad having it's own respective pressure / xy / note / cc values attached.
that would be a lot more useful than just the notes changing.

I would also be receptive to midi/osc routing/mapping solutions... if anyone has any homebrew ideas...
I use osculator>ableton if that helps

also for the bank switching controls
it would be nice to have an option for All
so we can switch banks on rotaries, vertical sliders, long sliders and pads
all at the same time.

I agree. Something else that might be nice would be to have the bank control just make the MIDI channel increase/decrease. I use my QuNeo alongside my NI Maschine and I've got the Maschine using MIDI channels 1-8 and the QuNeo on 9-16 to prevent the controllers from having conflicting messages
