CV input - what cable should I use?

I am trying to get two cv signals into the quenxus via cv 1-2 in. I bought a TRSS 3.5mm 4 Pin to 2x 3 Pin 3.5mm cable, but it just receives the same cv signal down both channels. Any ideas where I can get the right cable? does it need to be one designed for headphones down one channel and mic input down the other (these are the only other cables i've found)?
I know there is the Qunexus cable connector kit, but it is way over-priced, and shipping to the uk is over double the cost of the kit. Any ideas?

This KMI cable kit has been mentioned before as one possible solution so it may be worth looking into:

The cable kit is great - but ends up costing about $60 to get it to the UK. Which for 5 cable is crazy talk. They can't be the only people who make the right cable, surely?

There's always the option of wiring up your own cable. The TRRS connections on the CV input are as follows (this info is in the QuNexus CV Manual):

Tip = CV 1 input
1st Ring (closest to tip) = +5V out for expression pedal power
2nd Ring (closest to sleeve) = CV 2
Sleeve = Ground

So tip + sleeve would be used for CV1 input and 2nd ring + sleeve would be used for CV2 input (mono, TS connectors). Or if you ever wanted to use an expression pedal it would be tip + 1st ring + sleeve for input 1 and 1st ring + 2nd ring + sleeve for input 2 (stereo, TRS connectors).

So I tried to use this cable (with mono phono to minjack convertors on the end)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261117837121? ... 1439.l2649

But I have the same problem - each cable sends the same midi message - if I set the midi cc to 100 for CV1 and 101 for CV2, both sides will be picked up by each cable end. Sometimes too, when I plug it in, all the lights dance on the qunexus and I can't use it until I pull it out.

Is this not the right cable? If I buy the cable kit made by KMI, will it even work? Has anyone got this working?

Pulling hair out now!

Basically, without a schematic of the cable or being able to put a multimeter on it I will have zero idea if a TRRS cable is wired in a way that works with QuNexus. They can be wired a number of different ways for different purposes — there isn't really a standardized way of dealing with them yet (if it ever happens).

The TRRS cable we include in our cable kit (3.5mm TRRS to dual 3.5mm TRS) definitely works. It was made to our specifications/needs.

Ok, cool.
Do you know if you distribute the cable kit to a distributor in the UK/EU?
The only place I can find it is US, and the cost plus shipping works out at $97!
Thanks

I believe our UK distributor may have some. You should contact Simon at this email address: simonl@mslpro.co.uk

I have now purchased the offensively priced cable kit, and the problem persists. I have opened a support ticket. With this problem combined with the lack of velocity to Cv functionality, I am beginning to doubt the integrity of your company. Hopefully you will be able to sort me out soon.
