hosted mode vs standalone limitation

Postby kope » Fri Oct 23, 2015 12:27 pm

I'm using windows so hosted mode is not the most convenient way for working with softstep. I noticed that standalone doesn't provide separate data sources for north/south or top/bottom. Is there any particular reason for such a drastic limitation?

I'm sure there is a reason for this, but I wasn't around when the SS was developed so I can't know for sure. Perhaps the firmware/hardware doesn't do the greatest job on it's own of separating the sensor data efficiently.
