Side to side radius?

I've been doing some cool stuff with the radius function on BP but I believe I'm constrained to the Y axis (inside to outside). Any chance we could use the X axis (side to side in quadrant) as well?

Re: IOS Support

It's clear from KMI's marketing materials that they have targeted the professional musician crowd with this product. PC software is still the dominant toolset for both the studio and live use cases, so their approach makes sense. But judging from the length of this thread, it looks like there might ...

Re: crosstalk

I'm probably drawing parallels that aren't helpful but I experienced some crosstalk with BopPad once or twice. Both times it was because the software was picking up both MIDI and note data that I had inadvertently left on when fiddling with the web editor to configure the quadrants.

Re: IOS Support

Yes, those are hex values in what I supplied. The first line is used for note on (9X) and the second one is note off (8X). Based on what you stated about your approach, I think I need to rethink my strategy. I had turned the note on completely off and was working with just the radius CC. But I see t...

Re: IOS Support

Can you describe the general approach you used in the Zones app? I'm wondering if I can replicate on iOS using a Midi tool like MidiFire. I tried to convert CC ranges to notes but I couldn't get it to work as I expected. Something like this is what I am using: BX 50 01-28 = 9X 54 BX 50 01-28 = 8X 54...

Re: IOS Support

Really glad to hear you are considering Zones for the firmware at some point. It's a killer feature! I was playing a little percussion thing on three quadrants the other night and then playing a melody on the fourth quadrant. It provoked a few raised eyebrows!

Re: IOS Support

Oh, forgot one other request: if you could put the Zones project (which is amazing!) in the iOS native app, it'd be really really swell:

Re: IOS Support

Another happy BopPad user on iOS here. It's not too big of a hassle to configure the BP on my laptop, so no big complaints. That said, it'd be cool to have a dedicated native app for iOS so that we could quickly load more than four presets at a time. Anyway, to me, BP and iOS are made for each other...
