Re: SoftStep4Live Released

Hey Everyone, Thanks for the positive words. I've definitely sunk a little more time into all this than I would like, the point is to play music after all right? I echo the frustration with the KMI software/support, I guess they're just a small company that is learning to have their software catch u...

SoftStep4Live Released

Hey fellow determined SS users, Having gone through ~12 months now of frustrations with our beloved foot pedal, I decided to try and make a max4live device that would seamlessly integrate the softstep with ableton, and work as a jumping off point for further customization. Found here: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/1156/softstep4live Only problem is that at the moment it that ...

Re: Humming noise

Hey Everyone, I'm not sure if this topic has died or moved on, but I just got my softstep today. It was dead silent, I loved it. I wanted to use the dev kit so I decided to upgrade to firmare v2. I followed the directions to a T, and the moment it finished, it started humming like mad! The unit made...

Re: Convert from Max to Cocoa, please!

+1 on the API From the looks of it +9l0% of your user base on the API. With the release of Max for Live, the masses are much more OSC literate. If I could have an API to talk directly to the soft step with OSC or sysex, it would be very helpful. I haven't bought one yet specifically because of this ...
