Re: Repeat question: who's using multiple functions per butt

I have used each button to set different midi notes (create chords), send PC & CC messages and automatically change Preset Modulation. Wish KMI would update the software and fix known bugs! About to experiment with self adhesive rubber bumbers on different places on each button/key, to facilitat...

Re: A real "bottom" foot on

Message from KMI support Sep11; Yes, we're aware of the Top and Bottom source retriggering. It seems that it retriggers for every change in pressure value, rather than just an on and off. As for when this will be fixed, I unfortunately can't give any sort of timeframe for that. Hmmm makes you wonder !

Re: A real "bottom" foot on

I have trouble with Top and Bottom. WHen I look at the notes being generated (with a midi monitor) I see a lot of note on and note off interspersed between the note on messages, as well as note off at the end. The sound is warbled. Did you email support? Thanks

I'm afraid I do not use "Ableton" If you have skype, you can share your screen with me I dont understand how you can set up a different CC for each corner.

Re: Softstep doesn't send midi-values which I have saved

Hi
You dont have to set up each corner. Just set up a modline using "foot on". That way you just have to hit the pedal anywhere. I am using a mac, I know Windows seems to have more problems with SS.
Good luck

Re: Mac SS key editor windows problem

I found that a double click (or 2 single clicks) on the "open" of the pad number you want in the main SoftStep screen, will align the (key modulation) window edge to left of screen so buttons are available ! ! yippee
