That ernie ball sounds right it's a 250 pot. Not going to work well. The ev5 works best, but I use the moog ep3 for quality feel.
You could buy a 10$ volt/ohm meter and check your pedal that way aswell.

As David Byrne says "Technology directs music" this new gear has totally effected my music. I use to mix my vox tone lab and some other pedals with a 12 step but now I'm all KMI. I don't like sifting through scenes so I use more than one. Considering that a decent stomp box is $100-300 it'...

try midi monitor app to see when the pedal starts sending signal. If it is might need to take it apart see what the pots doing. Or then you know it is in your soft wear. Also check the dial on the side of the pedal.

Hmm I know st vincent keyboard player uses 12 step out side. But I guess those are big shady stages..
