Re: Quneo indirect interface

"An SDK for programmers would be far simpler." {snip} It would be useful for some people. Since they claim this is open source I don't imagine they would have any problems in giving you the communication protocol. Fire up your C++ compiler and go for it! Unfortunately the SDK and Open Sou...

Re: can't share presets

You cannot export presets from version 1.01 and import them into version 1.1. And you can't even read the current Preset configurations off the QuNeo device. A bit of a serious oversight do you not think! Surely all new versions of the Editor should be able to recognise and load Preset created with...

Alas, I sure didn't expect I still be using it with a Quneo :(
Hence why I suggested this one and its derivatives over a month ago. At least it actually have Win7 support!

Re: Individual pad sensitivity and gate times :)

Since most people might trigger more than one type of sound given that there are a lovely 16 pads available, it is pretty essential that the pad sensitivity be adjustable PER pad if at all possible. :) Already exists. Look at the Advanced controls in the editor. Also, being able to set gate times w...

Re: Relative Pad Coordinates

I fell asleep at my computer... again, and I woke up the next day to see that I hadn't posted a more well thought out version of my previous post. I hit post. "session logged out." Lost the original. fml. Impatiently paraphrase previously well crafted post. I get it, "MIDI spec speci...

Re: [Improvement needed] Human-readable preset files.

Well just for viewing people can use something such as this site: http://jsoneditor.net/ or http://www.jsoneditoronline.org/ I have to to try saving and see if then it gives a more readable version offline. I wouldn't want to use that for actual editing. Seem to be a lot of setting for incoming data...

Re: Windows USB MIDI problem on notebook?

No errors are posted that I can see, but could this be a power issue? On 64 bit Win7, does excessive current draw on a USB port show up as a warning anywhere? Has anyone had this problem and found a solution, like using a powered hub (not very convenient when traveling)? Or are there some USB chips...

Re: Gimme some seconds from the latch value

Name for this type of function is generally called Inertia.

Was thinking about this other day, but more from the DAW end (rather than expecting the Quneo to do it), with ramping to different locations when tapping for XY position or using Velocity of a pad for an effect parameter.
