Re: K Pick?

Hi,

There have been companies in the past who have made a sensor pick. It was never wireless and did not do much and was big. I have had good success with sensors in the guitar and will be pursuing this later in the year.

How horrible would a wired pick be to you?

Re: Keystrokes ?

If you can get me a command string that will page forward and back and maybe do song select (or connect me with someone who would know) I would definitely consider this. I have had several requests besides yours and I really do not see a 3rd party solution.

Re: Standalone Time Frame for Windows????

Hi All, We have a release candidate for the next Mac and Win version with new K1 firmware. The new apps will check the firmware on SoftStep and allow you to automatically update so app and pedal will always be in software synch. We will make it a public beta for a week to make sure we have addressed...

Re: OSC Wishlist

Hi,

We are working on a new release that will solve some a few known bugs, reduce cycle burn and get OSC back in line. Once we kick out the next SoftStep build any day now, we will finish up StringPort next release.

Thanks,

Keith

Re: Keystrokes ?

Hi, This, and a bunch of things that will really buff out the SS will be in the works soon. We can only program 14 hours a day so we need to prioritize. If the function can be accomplished by a 3rd party add-on I have put it off for now. As one who just can't leave good enough alone, you can be cert...

Re: Standalone Time Frame for Windows????

Hi Patient Person, We are using the Windows Standalone in house for final test right now (well it is 8 AM so in a few hours) and have been banging on it for weeks. The last few tweaks and burps are getting nailed and this will be out in days not weeks. We have added a lot of functionality to both wi...

Re: Max/MSP Objects for use with SoftStep

Once we have V 1.1 beaten to death and released we will work on an API that will allow control of LEDs and Alpha display.

Several other support tools are in the works which many of you will appreciate.

Re: midi / standalone mode

I knew from moment I invented SoftStep (Feb 13, 2009) that I wanted a Standalone Mode. This is why we have a fast little CPU and external RAM on the SoftStep hardware. One of the big questions was just how much functionality from the Hosted Application could we get into the Standalone Mode. Initiall...
