Multiple Decades of Momentary CC-s - How?

I'm trying to set up a following preset in stand alone: 1) Keys 1 to 0 send out CC 21 to 30, Foot on value 1, off value 0 2) NavPad Y selects decades, so CC 31 to 40; CC 41 to 50 etc would be also possible within a single preset By using the following settings, I get on value that corresponds to the...

Re: SUCCESS RATE WITH STANDALONE WINDOWS

Works here with WinXP SP3 32bit.
Had to reprogram all the presets though - the output routing for most of the keys was wrong, also I didn't find a way to import the hosted presets.

So, manual labour for the win!

Re: SS in Stand Alone Doesn't Send Any MIDI (WinXP)
Hmmm, this doesn't explain why editing the switch settings doesn't give a working result, but copying the same switch to another one will make it work.
Found out the reason copying works (I think): On key one in every scene the device route is SoftStep Expander fo...

Re: SS in Stand Alone Doesn't Send Any MIDI (WinXP)
Windows XP can sometimes be somewhat unpredictable about how it renames our SoftStep MIDI Ports, this can cause the device/route assignments in the key modulation windows to populate as something different than what the factory presets were saved as originally.
Hm...

SS in Stand Alone Doesn't Send Any MIDI (WinXP)

Just wrestled a couple of hours with this problem double checking every equipment/setting I could think of. The good thing is that I found a solution to this bug: Use copy/paste to overwrite the footswitch modline settings - now SoftStep sends MIDI as expected. The catch: You lose the factory preset...

Re: Humming noise

I wonder why they didn't use LED-s instead if the EL backlight gives so much grief, didn't they test it?

Re: My Experience With Version 1.1

So far the positive is the "Stand Alone Mode" SoftStep Bugs and Observations - Win XP SP3 32bit 1. Can't close the software - close button is greyed out - only way is to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and even then it refuses to close until SoftStep is unplugged! 2. EL Light Off setting not remembered in...

Re: Making program change 0 a 10 instead, 0 a 20, etc.

Understood, and agree it's a problem.
Numbers should go from 1 to 10, from 11 to 20 etc.

Too bad I don't have any solution, I haven't tried PC messages yet.

Re: Upgrading Firmware - Which MIDI Ports?
Kaspar, you appear to have Softstep and another USB Audio Device plugged in. Unplug all usb devices including Softstep and exit SysexBox. Then rerun SysexBox, and check the input and output devices. There should be no Usb Audio devices. Exit SysexBox, then replug Softst...
