Works here with WinXP SP3 32bit.
Had to reprogram all the presets though - the output routing for most of the keys was wrong, also I didn't find a way to import the hosted presets.

So, manual labour for the win!

Just wrestled a couple of hours with this problem double checking every equipment/setting I could think of. The good thing is that I found a solution to this bug: Use copy/paste to overwrite the footswitch modline settings - now SoftStep sends MIDI as expected. The catch: You lose the factory preset...

I wonder why they didn't use LED-s instead if the EL backlight gives so much grief, didn't they test it?

So far the positive is the "Stand Alone Mode" SoftStep Bugs and Observations - Win XP SP3 32bit 1. Can't close the software - close button is greyed out - only way is to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and even then it refuses to close until SoftStep is unplugged! 2. EL Light Off setting not remembered in...

Understood, and agree it's a problem.
Numbers should go from 1 to 10, from 11 to 20 etc.

Too bad I don't have any solution, I haven't tried PC messages yet.

I hope this isn't going to kill my SoftStep :D
