I just got out my old SoftStep (I) and tested it in Standalone mode ( how I normally use it) with Max 7.2.2 and all seems to work just fine! The SS Advanced Editor says my firmware (68) is out of date, but there's no way I'll update it to 91, perhaps I should try to find the old editor that came with the hardware.

Do you mean tested with OS X 10.11.14 ? Then that would mean the problem is linked to the latest firmware. Out of curiosity, I'll try with my old Softstep too (glad I kept one just in case :) !

It is likely due to the firmware in the SS, as all of our other products work with 10.11.4. It's definitely fixable, it's just unclear right now what that entails from a workload perspective.

Just to let you know that the problem is still here after updating to 10.11.5 (official update).

With all the attention to K-mix it would be nice to see this fixed sometime soon :(
