Need help with customization of Program Change preset

I'm playing guitar through Bias FX on iPad and to change presets 4 buttons of Softstep is enough. Tried to edit native ”Program Change" preset in SS but totally ruined it. Could someone help me to assign SS in proper way to use it with Bias FX?

What are the MIDI messages that you need to send to Bias?

Hi. I think messages should be Program type. Just like in native preset "Program change".

But how can I make my own preset that would use only 4 buttons to switch presets and Nav pads to switch banks in my Bias FX? All other pads may send for example CC messages but it is not necessarily.

Again, excuse my ignorance, but I don't know what 'banks' means in relation to bias, or how to switch banks in that software. The navpad is limited in the amount of messages it can send. You might be better served using keys 5 and 0 to switch 'banks'

Why can't you just use the default preset?

You can send discrete program change messages like this:

Thank you for responding.
I actually use this preset but it's quite uncomfortable. In Bias there are four presets (buttons) in every bank (or on every page) but in SS there are 10 buttons in every bank (Nav Pads). So it takes too much time to count wich pad of SS I should press to activate surtain preset in Bias FX if it is far from one I use currently. Or whether I should press Nav Pads to list to another bank of SS or I don't?
Is there any possibility to make custom Program Change preset in SS with only 4 usable buttons per SS bank?

Sure you can do that, you could then have the other 6 buttons to do other things with. :)
Just use the nav to go up and down your banks of 4.

Sorry to tell but this plan hadn't worked. :-( I've changed modlines of SS pads 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 and four other pads worked as i planned. They switched presets Pad 1 - 1A, Pad 2 - 1B, Pad 3 - 1C, Pad 4 - 1D in Bias FX (actually SS had on its display 0, 1, 2, 3 but for me it matters less).

But when I pressed NavPad and switched to next bank, presets switched this way: Pad 1 - 3C, Pad 2 - 3D, Pad 3 - 4A, Pad 4 - 4B and SS displayed 10, 11, 12, 13. It means that SS presets 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 were passed. How could it be?

Finally I reached my goal without Program messages. Couldn't sort out how to use Program Change preset at all. :-) Assigned CC messages on every SS pad then used midi learn option in Bias FX. Pity but my beautiful idea hadn't worked. :-)

But anyway I strongly want to understand what do highlighted modlines mean?

Can I change the decade step of incrementing/decrementing for NavPads, from 10 to 4 steps?
Why pedal modlines are used only in 1st SS Pads?
