SoftStep with Ableton. Windows PC

Postby Elias » Tue Mar 13, 2018 12:37 am

Hello!
I have a Windows 10 system,(in device is _sscom driver)
In the program Ableton 10.1 in Preferences / midi / sscom / remote /.

I managed to manage with SS with turning on and off buttons in Ableton.
My task:
I want to control the volume fader, that is, so that I can add or subtract, and after that he stayed
in the position I did. But it works like a gas pedal machine that is not fixed. It's falling back to zero.

I tried different models in the Advance Editor(host) _(X, Y, Latch ...), the result is the same - the fader always returns to the original 0. Tried the factory presets the same result.
Although in the Editor mode (Y increment) reacts the way I need it - that is, pressing the key add or subtract as much as necessary.
A week as I'm already trying to understand this technique. Help me please.

You should be using the y Inc source to set volume faders at a certain level. This is available in either the basic or advanced editor.
