Anybody got a wireless system running on their 12 step or similar midi controller?

I know Roland do this http://www.roland.co.uk/products/produc ... spx?p=1231

And m-audio do this http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov06/a ... dair25.htm

But I think it's for midi outputs only. Is there a way of running a wireless usb system? Anyone with any experience?

We make something like these called the Rogue, which will enable you to use the QuNeo, QuNexus, 12 Step, and SoftStep wirelessly.

You will need a male mini-USB to female micro-USB cable in order to connect the Rogue to the Expander port on your controller.

Well, I have sort of a wireless set up going but I do use some wires. If you have a Mac or IOS device then you can use a free IOS app called Apollo. You need to have bluetooth turned on all your devices as it uses Bluetooth LE which I find has not noticeable latency if you are in close range. What I do is plug a rechargeable usb battery into the 12 step's mini usb port and the lights light up. Then plug an IOS device using a camera connector into the usb b port of the 12 step. Set up the Apollo interface, in my case I interface both an iPhone 7 plus and a Ipad pro along with my Macbook and then the 12 step will trigger your midi programs on both IOS and Mac OS at the same time.

I used a USB B cable to USB mini into the PUC+ and all the lights lit up on the 12 step on battery power. This is a wireless Bluetooth Le solution to Mac or Ios and it works. The PUC+ comes with a special cable so you can power it with a usb wall wart or usb batter pac while still connected to the 12 Step.
