Any Serato Users?

Postby Frank Spinatra » Wed Oct 31, 2012 3:56 pm

I'm trying to use the QuNeo for Serato Scratch Live, I've upgraded from my Trigger Finger.
I'm having difficulty mapping it in serato's midi learn mode.
I realize that CoMA will be required to isolate the midi messages the QuNeo is sending out.

Just wondering if anybody has created any mappings yet for Serato?
If so I'd be glad to share notes.

Cheers,

Oh yea, FYI I also posted this on the Scratch Live forums first, but I'm not getting very far.

Just took some nerding out for a bit. Working great now.

I just had to wipe a default template (choose #4) in the editor.
Then manually type values in for each pad, and decide if I required all the messages available.
THEN use midi-learn mode in Scratch Live. Now it's working great.
For more info click the link in my previous post for my thread on the Serato forum.

Cool. I'm looking forward to using this with Serato DJ when it comes out for the Twitch controller.

Do you get access to the 'slice mode' in midi assign?

Hi KinBlu,

Likewise, I own the twitch for portable fun (mostly just as a library updating tool so I don't have to move the TTM57 around when I want to work on my cues', grids, and loops).

You should have midi access to the slicer function in Serato DJ. Similar to how midi-learn works with SSL currently. Shoot me a note in Spring 2013 when we'll be able to find out.... f'ing waiting!
