Please don't kill off KeyWorx

Postby convergys2 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 11:58 am

I just got the SoftStep because of the features offered by KeyWorx. This this is for a client who has developed a severe case of carpel tunnel syndrome and has great difficulty using an ordinary keyboard. With supports help, I was able to program most of the users most common actions and thus reducing the strain. SoftStep and KeyWorx fills a void that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Please don't let it die.

Yeah, I agree we should do a KeyWorx update.

To anyone else reading this, convergys2 made another thread that illustrates how to get KeyWorx (mostly) working with the newer 2.0 firmware here: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=2404

Apple has posted notice that Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) will be the last OS X release that supports Java 6, and as such, recommends developers whose applications depend on Java 6 to migrate their apps to a newer Java version provided by Oracle
Is this going to happen?! Must say I'm pretty disappointed that KeyWorx no longer functions with my softstep. :(
