Can Keys Send PC?

I'm planning on buying this for my girlfriend to use to augment the functionality of her Nord Electro 3. I was primarily looking for a small midi controller (like the Akai LPD8) that would send PC commands so she can have instant access to more sounds with the push of a button.

Then I stumbled onto the QuNexus. I know she would love all the ways the QuNexus can augment the functionality of a Nord, but, if I'm reading correctly, I see that the buttons cannot be individually programmed to send Program Change commands. Is that right?

Correct. Each key can be programmed to output a number of different CC messages, but not program changes. Currently the only program change functionality is you can set it to output a program change when switching to a preset. So for example, if you set up preset B to output program change 12 it would output a program change messages with a value of 12 every time you switched to preset B.
