Well it depends on how you want to use it and the MIDI implementation of your software. It you can freely assign CCs to parameters, then it's really up to you and how you want to control it.
The QuNexus can do a lot of different things, it's hard to give turnkey solutions for any one piece of software.

Good luck!

I think it's more about how you set up the software to respond to the QuNexus. Sampled strings are hard to get to sound real regardless of how you are playing them.

For drums all you really have is note and velocity. Make sure that velocity is doing appropriate things. Volume control, maybe you have a multisampled drum kit with different samples being played by different velocity levels.

For strings you can get a little more creative. You can use tilt or pressure to influnece pitch to simulate vibrato. You could se the attack time to respond to velocity so you could play staccato and legato depending on how hard you are hitting the keys.

Again, it depends on what you want to do, and how you like to play.
