How to get the right amount of pressure sensitivity?

Postby Ninjazz » Fri Feb 10, 2017 3:39 pm

I've been testing out my QuNexus and I find the pressure sensitivity value too...Sensitive. Essentially pressure goes to mod wheel and I don't want to adjust mod wheel unless I press hard similarly to a regular keyboard. Perhaps I'm trying to get the pressure to act as aftertouch which is what I want and I'm using the wrong parameter? Poly After-Touch doesn't seem to work on non poly after-touch synths. Not sure what to do, mod wheel is set to cutoff filter and so when I hit a key the mod wheel jumps, not what I want. Any ideas on setting this up?

Also you I have the pressure to mod wheel and be able to leave the mod wheel 1/2 way or 2/3rds up?

You should look into the user tables. You can define a curve. For instance you would want there to be zero movement from say 0-20, then start ramping up to 127 after that. There's more info in the manual.
