Controlling LEDs

Postby bob » Fri Oct 17, 2014 9:49 am

"Notes 48(C2) - 72(C4) will control the keyboard LEDs. If you send notes outside of that range they will
wrap around and still control the LEDs of the Keyboard."
is it possible to changes that? so the notes outside the range doesn't wrap, and you have to change the octave to "see" them.
and the brightness responds to velocity just between 0-16 value. That would be better to have a full range (0-127) of intensity variation.

another thing that could be nice, is the possibility to change the behavior of the preset buttons in the qunexus editor :
- directly press A, B ,... to select preset (without the led animation would be a plus)
- already noticed but disable those function so that the buttons sends CC

-the possibility to choose the root note (c0, c1,...)
-the blinky octave are annoying

It would be possible to change the LEDs wrapping (it actually makes programming the LED's a pain, especially because if you shift up one octave, the external control will be lighting the wrong octave) in a firmware update.
The LED's have only 16 levels of brightness so changing the values to 0-127 wouldn't change the functional brightness, it would just get scaled back to 0-16.
The root note thing can be accomplished in external software in many different ways.

I will log your requests for future updates.
