Disable Velocity in Presets

Postby catchy1 » Thu May 05, 2016 4:04 am

hello,

it would be great to have the option to disable velocity in the editor, so it's not on in every Preset.
maybe there's a workaround, but i haven't found it...

why?
not every synth needs it.
in my setup i got my volca bass on preset 1/channel 1, where velocity isn't needed in my usecase.
on preset 2/channel 2 i got the volca Keys, where velocity is great.
would make a big difference in my workflow, especially live where time is of the essence and turning velocity off takes too long. especially since one needs to hold it for a second to turn it off.

You can turn velocity off using the 'Custom' Table to edit the curve so that every value other than 0 will be 127.
Go to the hardware menu and make your table, then assign it to the velocity modline's table.

Although changing presets probably takes just as long as turning off velocity...

right, i knew there was a workaround i wasn't seeing. thank you!

still wish it was possible, some odd times i want velocity. of course i could use another preset, but since i only got 4....
or that turning velocity on/off was instantaneous.
